Tsitsikama Canopy Tour
A first in Africa. Enjoy the unequaled beauty of the indigenous forest high up on ten treetop platforms. Gently glide along in a harness, on steel cables 30 meters above the forest floor. A “green” activity that is full of fun!!

Photographic Scavenger Hunt

The Tsitsikamma Team Challenge and Photographic Scavenger Hunt start with a sedate stroll with a local field guide through our tree-lined village. Your team is encouraged to open their eyes and ears and listen to the useful, useless (red herrings abound), interesting, and quirky information being shared with them…

Whilst savoring the sounds of village life, the smell of clean air, the sights of nature, the feel of friendship and camaraderie, and taste the crystal waters of the Tsitsikamma.

The mayhem begins as Teams are given a Competitive and Fun Task List and a Time Limit in which to score the highest points. Teams are required to recall useful/interesting facts and faces (were you listening?) capture photographs of Team Members performing crazy and challenging tasks, engage with our village community, dancing in the streets, collecting photos of our flora and fauna, and using the creative imagination of the inner child to combine talents and skills to earn maximum points. ●Guests who are differently abled or have unique needs must please book via telephone or email to share their specific requirements ● so that we can cater to their needs and ensure you enjoy your experience to the fullest. ●Tours include bottled water, gear, and safety equipment as well as guides ●Clients are advised that the tour includes a 600m hike afterward. ●Moms to be: We apologize – this tour is not for you while pregnant. ●We suggest a weight restriction per person of approximately 120kg to 130kg – this restriction is not weight-related but instead imposed by the size of the harnesses we use and is based on the circumference of the straps around the body. ●Our minimum age is 5 years old, and the children can do the tour in tandem with the guide. ●The activity is an all-weather activity.
